MONTREAL, June 7, 2021 – Nuvei Corporation (“Nuvei” or the “Company”) (TSX: NVEI and NVEI.U), the global payment technology partner of thriving brands, has announced today the closing of the previously announced secondary offering on a bought deal basis of an aggregate of 7,165,378 subordinate voting shares of the Company at a purchase price of US$69.78 per subordinate voting share for total gross proceeds to the selling shareholders of approximately US$500 million (the “Offering”).

Goldman Sachs Canada Inc., Credit Suisse, National Bank Financial Inc. and Scotiabank acted as joint bookrunners for the Offering. BMO Capital Markets, Merrill Lynch Canada Inc., Citigroup Global Markets Canada Inc., RBC Capital Markets, Canaccord Genuity Corp., Raymond James Ltd. and Stifel Nicolaus Canada Inc. also acted as underwriters for the Offering (collectively, the “Underwriters”).

MONTREAL and NASHVILLE, Tenn., Jan. 21, 2021 — Nuvei Corporation (TSX: NVEI and NVEI.U), the global payment technology partner of thriving brands, announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary has received approval to support the sports betting industry in Tennessee.

The Sports Wagering Committee of the Tennessee Education Lottery Corporation has approved Nuvei’s registration as a vendor. The approval authorizes Nuvei to provide its innovative payment technology to all licensed and regulated sports betting operators across the State.

Tennessee legalized sports betting in 2019 and it launched on November 1, 2020. Sports wagering began after the State started licensing sportsbooks who applied for licensure. Wagering on sports is legal anywhere within Tennessee’s borders for customers over the age of 21.

Nuvei has previously received state approval for sports betting in Colorado, Indiana and West Virginia.

MONTREAL, and CHARLESTON, WV, Nov. 19, 2020 — Nuvei Corporation (TSX: NVEI and NVEI.U), the global payment technology partner of thriving brands, announced today that its subsidiary Nuvei Technologies Inc. (“Nuvei” or the “Company”) has received approval to support the sports betting and iGaming industry in West Virginia.

Nuvei is a full-service payments provider to the iGaming and sports betting industries. The Company’s application for a West Virginia Lottery i-Gaming Interim Supplier license and Sports Wagering Interim Supplier license were approved by the West Virginia Lottery Commission.

With the approval, the Company will be allowed to operate as an i-Gaming supplier in compliance with the codes outlined in West Virginia’s Interactive Wagering Act (§29-22E-1) and provide services for sports betting operators under West Virginia’s Sports Wagering Act (§29-22D-8 et seq.).

West Virginia legalized sports betting in March of 2018 in advance of the 2018-19 NFL season; the law became active with the U.S. Supreme Court decision in May of the same year.

Currently, 17 states have legalized online sports betting, while several states are working on legislation to approve sports betting following the U.S. Supreme Court decision more than two years ago to end the federal ban.

MONTREAL, December 13, 2021 – Nuvei Corporation, through its subsidiary Simplex, is rolling out branded Visa debit cards to its partners across the European Economic Area and United Kingdom, following a partnership with Visa.

Having already provided crypto-friendly debit cards to blockchain finance ecosystem COTI in recent months, Nuvei via its Simplex brand, continues to make use of its Visa Principal Membership and EMI license to provide partner firms with an easy way to spend crypto anywhere Visa is accepted.

In combination with Nuvei’s Simplex Banking, the new cards simplify the fiat-to-crypto on-ramp and off-ramp process, creating a unified way for individuals to utilize and spend the funds from their crypto sales.

Nuvei’s Chair and CEO, Philip Fayer described the rollout of the cards as an important development for the firm’s partners and their customers. “The branded Visa debit card is a huge asset to our partners and their users, enabling the immediate and seamless spending of crypto earnings,” he said, “With this program, Visa has played a vital role in expanding the crypto ecosystem by closing the gap between traditional finance and crypto.”

For the customers of Nuvei’s partners, the use of the debit card allows them to sell their crypto holdings at the click of a button, while being able to spend the resultant funds instantly anywhere that Visa is accepted. Using the branded cards, customers effectively gain the same spending power with their crypto holdings as they would with traditional currencies.

The Nuvei-Visa collaboration stands to optimize cryptocurrency and digital asset payments by offering clients a way to close the fiat-to-crypto-to-fiat loop, a process that previously depended on the cooperation of the legacy banking system.

MONTREAL, February 17, 2022 – Nuvei Corporation (“Nuvei” or the “Company”) (Nasdaq: NVEI) (TSX: NVEI), today announced senior leadership team enhancements that further position the global payment technology partner of thriving brands to deliver on its next phase of growth.

The appointments see Yuval Ziv, the Company’s Managing Director, Digital Payments, promoted to President in a newly-created global role, Praful Morar, the Company’s Chief Strategy Officer in Digital Payments, appointed Global Expansion Officer and Netanel Kabala appointed Chief Data and Analytics Officer. In addition, Mark Pyke, President, North America, will retire at the end of March. His role will not be replaced.

As President, Ziv will lead worldwide product, sales, marketing, client engagement and artificial intelligence-led capabilities. He has been with the Nuvei group of companies for the past 15 years driving payments technology development across multiple industries. While at SafeCharge, acquired by Nuvei in 2019, he served as Group Chief Commercial Officer and Group Chief Operational Officer following a number of risk and compliance, and business development roles.

Morar is relocating from London, United Kingdom, to Singapore in his new role as Global Expansion Officer. He will be responsible for driving Nuvei’s international growth in target markets across Asia Pacific, the Middle East and North Africa.

Kabala was a co-founder of Israeli fintech startup Simplex, which Nuvei acquired in September 2021. In his new global role, he will spearhead Nuvei’s data and analytics, risk scoring and modelling as the Company continues to grow data-led services through its leading-edge technology while responding to the evolving real-time payment needs of businesses and merchants around the world.
