WeCook, Canada’s leader in ready-to-eat meals and a long-time Nuvei partner, partnered with Montreal institution Schwartz’s Deli, recently named one of the top 25 sandwiches in the world by CNN, for a one-day pop-up in Toronto. This collaboration gave Torontonians the rare chance to experience Schwartz’s world-famous smoked meat, and thousands of eager fans lined up to take part.

The need

For an event of this scale, speed and reliability were essential. WeCook needed a payments solution that could be deployed almost instantly, handle high transaction volumes, and keep lines moving smoothly so guests could enjoy the great food and experience. A delay at the point of sale would have been a major headache, disrupting the event and leaving customers frustrated.
